Visit to A Quarry
On Wednesday, June 7, a group from MU traveled to Stone City, IA to visit a prospective quarry that may supply the limestone for MU's New Student Center. At the quarry, we viewed the posted mock-ups of stone walls for the Center. It was an exciting trip since we were able to view what the building may look like.
Fun Fact: It will take 38 semi-truckloads of limestone to complete the new student center.
